New HDS Software announced

Along with the new Leica ScanStation P40, P30, and P16, Leica Geosystems has also announced three new software packages.

Leica JetStream
Leica JetStream takes Leica Cyclone data and serves the data in a high-performance format that enables dramatically improved productivity for CloudWorx. Leica JetStream eliminates various “wait times” long associated with point cloud office work. It also provides improved project data management for laser scanning projects.

Leica TruView Global
TruView Global makes TruViews accessible via any Internet browser on any device without a plug-in. TruView was introduced by Leica Geosystems in 2006 as an innovative, market-first solution for intuitive, free point cloud viewing, measuring, and mark-up. TruView has since been imitated across the industry. Shaking free from prior operating system and browser constraints, TruView Global is another first-to-market innovation, bringing TruView to an entire new set of users and clearing the way for new end-user applications.

Leica CloudWorx for Navisworks Plug-in
Leica CloudWorx for Navisworks, a new 3D point cloud plug-in for Autodesk’s Navisworks, is a popular design review software used by architecture, engineering, and construction. Leica CloudWorx for Navisworks allows users to more efficiently work with 3D point cloud data of existing conditions and proposed designs in order to make more informed decisions on project plans before construction or renovation begins. Leica CloudWorx plug-ins are also available for Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and 3ds Max software applications, as well as Bentley MicroStation, AVEVA PDMS, and Intergraph SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant Review, and SmartPlant Isometrics.
