Building on the long-term partnership with Case New Holland Industrial, Leica Geosystems has chosen to provide their Research & Development team in Odense, Denmark, with the newest Case machines.
The four units – a Case 1650M XLT dozer, a CX210C crawler excavator, an 836C AWD grader and a 621F wheeled loader – will be used to test our machine control systems in the field. The machines, fully equipped with Leica iCON machine control solutions, will not only be used by the R&D team but also for training activities.

This is based on a comprehensive in-house R&D program where testing and evaluation with construction machinery is an invaluable part of the process,” said Sten Kristensen, director of product management at Leica Geosystems. “We have chosen to use Case machines at our main test site in Denmark due to the advanced technology and reliability that Case is known for. With the selection of Case machines that we now have, we can perform tests and gain valuable experience for all our major on-machine control solutions.”
